The Most Underrated Show We've Ever Reacted To (And Why the Algorithm Buried It)

We ran the numbers on ten years of reaction videos, and one result stopped us: Fallout has the highest engagement rate of any show we've ever reacted to — and it's not even close to our most-viewed.

That's a strange combination. Usually the shows with the most passionate comment sections are also the shows with the biggest view counts — Always Sunny, The Office, Community. More eyeballs, more comments, simple math. Fallout breaks that pattern completely: relatively modest total views, but a wildly higher rate of likes and comments per view than almost anything else on the channel. Loki is right behind it, same story.

What that actually means

Engagement rate is a proxy for one thing: how much did the people who found this actually care. Total views tells you reach. Engagement rate tells you conviction. When a show's engagement outpaces shows with 10x the views, it usually means one of two things — either the algorithm hasn't found the right audience for it yet, or the people who are watching are unusually locked in.

With Fallout, we think it's both. It's a newer addition to our reaction slate compared to a decade-old juggernaut like Always Sunny, so it hasn't had years to accumulate views the way our long-runners have. But the people who ARE watching are reacting like it's already a top-tier show for us — which, by the numbers that actually matter, it is.

The pattern shows up elsewhere too

Once we started looking for it, the same signature appeared in a handful of other titles: Loki, Happy Endings, WandaVision, The Sandman. All relatively modest in raw views. All punching well above their weight in how hard the audience that finds them reacts.
