What to Watch After The Boys: 5 Shows Our Reaction Channel Says Are Just as Unhinged

1. Invincible

The closest thing we've reacted to. Same "superheroes are actually horrifying" premise, same willingness to go further than you think a cartoon should. Our Invincible reactions run a noticeably higher engagement rate than most of our superhero slate — people do NOT see the twists coming and the comments prove it.

2. Harley Quinn

If The Boys is "what if superheroes were actually corrupt," Harley Quinn is "what if villains were actually the fun ones." Different tone, same DNA of subverting the genre instead of playing it straight. One of the stronger engagement performers in our animated lineup.

3. Doom Patrol

The weirdest, most underrated pick on this list. If you liked how The Boys treats "having powers" as a curse instead of a gift, Doom Patrol goes even further with it — and our reactions to it lean into just how strange this show is willing to get.

4. The Umbrella Academy

Dysfunctional found-family superheroes, apocalypse-adjacent stakes, a soundtrack doing half the emotional work. If the family dynamics in The Boys (minus the outright villainy) are what you're here for, this is the gentler on-ramp.

5. DC Titans

The most "straight-up superhero show gone dark" pick — less satire than The Boys, but the same willingness to let its heroes be genuinely messed-up people first and heroes second.

The honest note

None of these are The Boys. Nothing fully replaces it — that's kind of the point of a show that's been running this long. But if you've caught up and you're in withdrawal, this is the order we'd actually recommend watching them in, based on what our own audience responded to strongest first.
